About
Christopher Twohig - Owner

I think of gardens as a bridge between the natural world and ourselves. Gardening like anything else can be about problem solving, self expression, and sublime or fleeting beauty. They can be about improving environmental health just as much as they can be for filling that vase for cut flowers. Having the tools you need to create that bridge can come in many different forms. Gardening can be nuts and bolts of course, but because of my practice and education, I have a pretty over-arching style that can blend or leave solitary the different disciplines of the many gardening traditions old or new to suit the constraints of a particular space, be it a corner garden or a pasture meadow. I tend to let nature inform me of choices first and foremost, working with instead of against. Christopher Twohig is a seasoned practitioner who is passionate about designing, building, and maintaining gardens.
